AI² for self-assessment of building energy performance

Advanced technologies such as Augmented Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence (AI²) can significantly improve buildings energy consumption and efficiency. The EU-funded H2020 Auto-DAN and SATO projects propose solutions based on augmented intelligence (AutoDAN) and artificial intelligence (SATO), that allow European buildings, managers, owners, occupants, and companies to optimize and assess the live energy performance of a building. These solutions take into consideration the types of appliances and systems installed, the smart readiness of buildings, and the users' operational practices, preferences, and satisfaction. Both projects integrate a smart hardware infrastructure, interoperable software architectures, and an energy self-assessment framework. This event will show how these projects can contribute to the European 2030 climate & energy framework goals of significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing the use of renewable energy, and improving energy efficiency.
