Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2021

The Portugal Smart Cities Summit is a national event that takes place every year at FIL - Feira Internacional de Lisboa  -  premises. In 2021, this event took place between November 16th and November 18th. The exhibition featured dozens of stands from Municipalities, technology companies and service providers who had the opportunity to show the latest developments in terms of smart technologies and their multiple applications. AMESEIXAL was present at the stand of the Municipality of Seixal with a booth equipped with a television screen, on which the explanatory video of the SATO project was continuously playing.

Several conferences took place during this event. They were attended by Mayors, top executives from large and medium-sized companies as well as public and private decision makers. Most of these attendees visited the Seixal stand, therefore AMESEIXAL had the opportunity to present the SATO project to a large number of them.

On November 17th, AMESEIXAL invited Prof. Guilherme Carrilho da Graça to make a 15-minute presentation about the SATO project. This presentation had the participation of several visitors who showed great interest in the exposed theme. Just before starting his presentation, Prof. Graça was interviewed by a journalist from IRIS FM radio about SATO.
